PizzaHacker
This is one of the reasons I love living in San Francisco. There is a guy here who calls himself the PizzaHacker, who considers himself an official pie slinger. Using only the freshest and organic ingredients he shows up at specific designated spots throughout the city during a time frame and creates pizza masterpieces for you to buy.
Apparently these pizzas are the real deal. According to fellow Yelpers, the pizzas are amazing. He cooks them in this mobile oven called the FrankenWeber which is a 22.5” Weber Charcoal Grill that was converted into a mini mobile wood burning pizza oven.
This week he’s going to be at Bloodhound which is one block away from me so I’m definitely giving him a shot.
What I’ve Been Up To in San Francisco
So I’ve transplanted here to San Francisco for the past two weeks so far, and I have to say it’s been a pretty exciting two weeks.
I started my new job at Ancestry.com and everyone there is friendly and talented. We just had our christmas party and I got to know some more coworkers I had yet to officially meet. I also got moved into my new loft which is much smaller than the apartment in Fresno but fits well.
This city is pretty amazing, with the amount of life and energy of people really wanting to get things done. Sure, I have to step over a few homeless on my walk to work each day but I don’t mind.
The next couple weeks I’m going to spend some additional time getting more locked in to unit testing, mocking and some other experimental things I want to research that I could present to our team eventually.
